Noah's Mill Bourbon

damn_dram_noahs_mill_bourbon.jpg

A delicious and bold bourbon from the folks at Willet. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

Quick Notes:

Strong caramel, spices and tree nuts from nose to a long bold and forward finish. Whoa.

The Verdict:

If you like your bourbons in your face and ready to party, this one’s for you.

Maker's Mark

makers_mark_damn_dram_whiskey_whisky_bourbon.jpg

Maker’s Mark has been one of my favorites and “go to” whiskey for a long time, and I think it’s hard to go wrong with this wheated bourbon for the prices I usually see it ($25 - $35 for 750ml).

Quick Notes:

Sweet fruit, vanilla and butterscotch meet with a bit of spice for a smooth, classic wheated bourbon. Great neat, on a rock (or two), or in a cocktail.

The Verdict:

The old stand by. If the selection is limited and they have Maker’s, order that.
